Celebrate the season with a holiday journey inspired by the classic film “It’s a Wonderful Life.” This five day trip blends small town charm, festive lights and the warm nostalgia of Christmas traditions.
Your travels begin in Bethlehem with a welcome dinner at the historic Hotel Bethlehem. The next morning you will explore the area’s Moravian history with visits to the Moravian Museum, the Single Sisters House and the Kemerer Museum. You will also see the Trees of Historic Bethlehem and enjoy free time in the beautifully decorated downtown before continuing to Geneva for a two night stay.
In Seneca Falls you will take part in the eightieth anniversary celebration of “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Enjoy the museum, the All Things Wonderful Festival and Frank Capra’s Preview Dinner hosted by the director’s granddaughter.
Your journey then continues to Indiana Pennsylvania, the hometown of Jimmy Stewart. Enjoy a holiday lunch theater performance, a visit to the Jimmy Stewart Museum and a tour of the places connected to his life before settling in for the night in Pittsburgh.
On your final day you will visit Phipps Conservatory for their Holiday Magic display and have free time at the Peoples Gas Holiday Market and the Strip District Terminal before returning to Columbus with the spirit of the season fully renewed.
