Experience Yellowstone during the winter season, when snow and ice transform the park into a quiet and dramatic landscape. This six day program features private Snowcoach touring, wildlife encounters, and scenic travel through Montana and Wyoming.

Begin with a flight to Salt Lake City and an overnight stay. The following morning, attend the live weekly broadcast performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir before traveling north through Island Park and over Targhee Pass into West Yellowstone, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park’s west entrance.

A private Snowcoach takes you into Yellowstone National Park for a full day of winter touring. Visit Old Faithful and stop at Madison Junction, Fountain Paint Pot, and Biscuit Basin. A box lunch is included, and wildlife stops are made along the route as conditions allow.

Continue to Jackson, Wyoming, stopping at the National Elk Refuge for an open sleigh ride among thousands of elk. Travel through Snake River Canyon and visit Utah Olympic Park, site of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, before returning to Salt Lake City for a farewell dinner and your return flight home.

This winter program offers access to Yellowstone’s geothermal features and wildlife in a season few travelers experience.
